The South African Hall of Fame Named “Most Trusted Non-Profit Organisation 2025 – South Africa” at the Business Excellence Awards

The South African Hall of Fame is proud to announce that it has been recognised as the “Most Trusted Non-Profit Organisation 2025 – South Africa” by the prestigious Business Excellence Awards 2025. This honour acknowledges the Hall of Fame’s unwavering commitment to celebrating South African legends, inspiring future generations, and empowering talented children with limited resources through its transformative Legacy Project.

The Business Excellence Awards, now in its twelfth year, celebrates enterprises and organisations worldwide that demonstrate resilience, innovation, and impact across industries. Winners are selected through a transparent, merit-based process, focusing on trust, service, and measurable contributions to their communities.

“To be recognised as South Africa’s Most Trusted Non-Profit Organisation is a powerful affirmation of our mission,” said Johnny Burger, Chairman of the South African Hall of Fame.

The award shines a spotlight on the Hall of Fame’s Legacy Project, which currently supports 33 promising young individuals with comprehensive bursaries covering education, sports development, mentorship, and essential living needs. The goal is to expand this support to reach 1,000 talented children without resources – unlocking futures and building a stronger South Africa.

Through high-profile induction ceremonies, innovative fundraising events such as the CEO Cycle ChallengeBirdies4Bursaries, and the Trilogy Ocean Challenge, the South African Hall of Fame creates powerful platforms where business meets purpose. These initiatives not only provide life-changing opportunities for youth but also offer companies valuable benefits including B-BBEE compliance, tax incentives, extensive media exposure, and meaningful brand alignment.

“This award belongs not just to the Hall of Fame, but to every partner, sponsor, and supporter who has stood with us,” Burger added. “We now call on more of South Africa’s business leaders to join us. Together, we can celebrate greatness, inspire the nation, and empower a new generation of legends.”
