In a country where stories of greatness often begin in places of deep struggle, the South African Hall of Fame not only celebrates the legends of the past, but works to inspire the heroes of tomorrow through its The Legacy Project. By partnering with GivenGain as our recommended fundraising platform, the South African Hall of Fame has created a direct, accessible way for every South African, and anyone around the world to contribute to the Legacy Project.
Here’s how you can get involved
Whether you’re drawn to bold physical challenges or prefer to support from home, there are several ways to invest in the next generation.

The CEO Cycle Challenge (1–5 September 2025)
South Africa’s top executives alongside sporting legends John Smit and Lucas Radebe will cycle in teams of four, each taking on a 25-minute session in a high-energy indoor event hosted at Nashua HQ in Woodmead. What began as a corporate challenge in 2024 has grown into a flagship movement where business meets purpose!

Boys Higher – The Ascent of Purpose
From 5–15 July, four of Pretoria Boys High’s own, Chris Oldnall, Luke Allan, Wade Grundy, and Keegan McIntosh, will attempt to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, honouring the school’s mentor/mentee tradition.
These relationships go beyond tradition; they are a testament to the values that shape future leaders and change-makers and embody the heart of The Legacy Program to empower talented children with limited resources.

The Trilogy Ocean Challenge
In a feat of human endurance and grit, Chris Oldnall and Peet Crowther attempt three of Cape Town’s most formidable open-water routes – extreme philanthropy with heart, pushing limits to inspire a nation.

Let’s Spread the Word
If you believe in our mission, you can help by simply sharing, no mountain climbing or open-water swimming required. Just spread the word by sharing our fundraising project links on social media, or send them to friends, family, and colleagues. Every share creates awareness, every post tells a story, and every voice helps build a future where talent is no longer held back by lack of opportunity.
