The Legacy Project

The Legacy Project, an initiative by the South African Hall of Fame, is a comprehensive bursary program dedicated to empowering South Africa’s youth. Unlike traditional bursaries, the Legacy Project provides holistic support, ensuring children have access to not just school fees but also essentials like textbooks, uniforms, mentorship, and medical aid.

This life-changing program identifies and nurtures exceptional talent, helping young South Africans overcome barriers and realise their full potential. By fostering academic, personal, and professional growth, the Legacy Project is shaping tomorrow’s leaders.

Partner schools such as Pretoria Boys High School and Maritzburg College provide an inclusive platform for students from all backgrounds, supported by full tuition and additional resources.

Partner schools identify talented students who lack financial resources but demonstrate exceptional potential.

Financial Support

We provide bursaries that cover all educational needs, from tuition to textbooks and beyond.

Ongoing Development

Continuous check-ins, personal growth plans, and access to additional development opportunities ensure every child’s success.

Evaluation & Selection

Candidates are assessed through a process to determine their eligibility for the program.

Mentorship

Dedicated mentors act as guides and supporters, offering encouragement and accountability throughout the journey.
